North Caroline advances to first state title game since 1987

The North Caroline Bulldogs controlled the tempo from the opening tip-off but found themselves trailing 28-27 heading into the half.

In the second, the roles would reverse as the Bulldogs opened the third quarter in a 9-0 run, holding River Hill to just five points heading into the fourth.

From there, it was all about the close out. Led by Senior Joey Adams, North Caroline would protect the ball and never allowed the Hawks to cut the deficit to within one score.

Adams finished with 31 points on the night as the North Caroline Bulldogs advanced to their first state title game since 1987.
