Officials: Dorchester Co. fire causes over $100K in damages

A fire remains under investigation after officials say multiple companies responded to the fire, and it caused over $100,000 in damages, in Dorchester County.

The Cambridge Rescue Fire Company says on Monday, at 9:00 AM, they responded to a fire in the area of Glasgow Street, in Cambridge. The Cambridge Rescue Fire Company Chief reports that there were 11 companies from Dorchester, Talbot, Caroline and Wicomico counties that responded to the fire. Officials say the fire was under control at 10:40 AM. 

No residents were injured, but a firefighter was removed from the scene for exhaustion. 

Authorities say the blaze caused about $150,000 in damages.

This incident remains under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
