Man charged in connection to attempted motorcycle theft in Talbot Co.

A man is in custody, after police say he tried to steal a motorcycle in Talbot County.
The Easton Police Department says on February 13, they responded to the Corbin Parkway development, in Easton, when a person reported that someone had tried to steal his motorcycle. Police say the caller walked outside and noticed that his shed was open and his motorcycle, which he parked in the shed, was in the driveway.
According to the report, a subject later identified as 18-year-old Mason Kelley, of Easton, was pouring gas into the tank. Kelley then reportedly ran from the driveway when he saw the caller. An officer reports that Kelley fled from police as he was later spotted walking nearby.
Easton PD says they were assisted by the Talbot County Sheriff's Office in locating Kelley, who was found hiding in a wooded area.
Law enforcement reports that the 18-year-old was arrested and found to be in possession of stolen items from area residents, and a small amount of suspected marijuana. He was charged with burglary.
He was held without bond.
