Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company Deputy Chief passes away

The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company says that Deputy Chief Thomas Jones passed away, on Sunday.

The Company's website said that with a heavy heart, officers and members of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company regret to inform that Deputy Chief Jones died, on Sunday.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. The Company is asking residents to keep the Jones family, along with the membership of the Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company in their thoughts and prayers.

It's unclear what Jones' cause of death is.
