Girl cited after car runs off roadway into a ditch in Millsboro

A crash is under investigation, after police say that a driver was cited, in Millsboro, on Sunday morning.

According to Delaware State Police, troopers responded to John J. Williams Highway, north of Holly Lake Road in Millsboro, for the report of crash at 8:51 a.m., on Sunday morning.

A 2008 Hyundai Elantra being driven by a 17-year-old Frankford girl with a 17-year-old Millsboro boy as a front seat passenger, reportedly ran off the roadway into a ditch. No other vehicles were involved.

Both kids were taken to Beebe Hospital as a precaution. There were no reported injuries. The driver was charged with inattentive driving. Impairment is not a factor.
