SU politics professor breaks down the State of the Union Address

President Trump will deliver his first State of the Union Address in a few hours.

Because local matters, 47 ABC sat down with politics professor Mike O’Loughlin at Salisbury University to get some more insight.

We're told it's an annual presentation by the President to give a summary to the country.

It will address how he sees the economy and where it should be going.

Some of the things discussed will most likely be immigration and infrastructure spending.

According to O'Loughlin, most Americans will be looking at the address to find a sense of unity.

After this address, a budget proposal will be handed over to congress. It will most likely be presented in February or March.
