Police: Two arrested after 500 grams of marijuana found during traffic stop in Dover

Police say that two women were charged with drug offenses following a traffic stop in Dover, on Friday night.
According to Dover Police, the Street Crimes Unit stopped a black BMW, driven by 20-year-old Jazmyne Harris with 24-year-old Laura Feliciano as a front seat passenger.
The vehicle reportedly traveled for several hundred feet after officers stopped the car. As the vehicle continued to travel, a large bag was allegedly thrown from the passenger side window.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident. Police say that officers found the bag that was thrown from the car and discovered that there were two bags inside with a combined total of 533.9 grams of marijuana inside.
Harris was also reportedly found in possession of $1,728 in suspected drug proceeds. Both Harris and Feliciano were charged with the following offenses:
- possession with intent to deliver marijuana
- possession of marijuana tier one
- tampering with physical evidence
- second degree conspiracy
Harris was committed to Baylor Correctional Center in default of $8,000 cash bond. Feliciano was released on $8,000 unsecured bond.
