Officials: Caroline Co. fire causes $60K in damages; investigation ongoing

A fire remains under investigation, after officials say a garage fire caused $60,000 in estimated total damages, in Caroline County.

The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal says on Tuesday, just before 10:45 PM, the Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 5500 block of Noble Road for a detached garage fire, in Federalsburg.

According to the report, 30 firefighters put the fire under control in 30 minutes. Officials report that no one was injured in the incident. The estimated total loss as a result of the fire is reportedly $60,000.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
