No one injured after vehicle fire causes traffic delays in Milford

Police asked the public to avoid Lexus Drive because of a vehicle fire in Milford, on Thursday morning.

According to Milford Police's Facebook page, officials from the Carlisle Fire Company, responded to a vehicle fire. South DuPont Boulevard was closed at Lexus Drive.

People were advised to find another route and to expect delays. More specifically, people were told to avoid the southbound lanes of South DuPont Boulevard.

The Carlisle Fire Company tells 47 ABC that it was a basic vehicle fire and that the engine and cab of the tractor trailer did not spread to the cargo in the trailer.

The cause of the blaze is unknown. No one was injured and it took about ten minutes to control.
