Deputies: Man taken to hospital after stabbing; one charged in Salisbury

A woman is facing charges, after deputies say she stabbed a man in the chest, in Salisbury.
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says on December 30, a deputy responded to a home, in the 500 block of Overbrook Drive, for a reported disturbance. Once on scene, the deputy says he met with a man who was bleeding as a result of a stabbing.
According to the report, further investigation revealed that the man was involved in an argument with 55-year-old Vanessa Bishop, of Salisbury, at the home. During the argument, authorities say Bishop threw a knife at the man which became lodged in his chest.
The victim was then taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC).
Bishop was arrested and charged with assault first degree, assault second degree, and reckless endangerment. She was later released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
