Decatur snaps losing streak against Parkside

Stephen Decatur snapped their two game losing streak at home against Parkside on Thursday.

The Seahawks (6-2), who haven't played since December 30th because of the snowstorm, were able to fend off a late run from the Rams in the 57-53 win.

Decatur would jump out to the early lead, but Parkside (5-5) would claw their way back into it in the second quarter behind seven first half points from Jalen Deloach.

UMES committ Kevon Voyles paced Stephen Decatur with a game-high 23, followed by John Taylor who dropped in 10, all in the second half.

For Parkside, four Rams scored in double digits, led by Tyler Poulson with 12.
