Community invited to support veteran and family in Del.

U.S. Army Sergeant Shaun O'Brien and his family are almost homeowners.

Back in July, Sergeant O'Brien was surprised with the news that he was going to be given a custom-built, mortgage-free home. It's part of Operation FINALLY HOME, in conjunction with the Lewes Building Company.

On Friday, the community is invited to stop by the home site to write inspirational words of support and encouragement on the studs of the unfinished home.

If you would like to go, it's January 19 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The home site is located at 16288 Red Fox Lane, Milton, Delaware 19968. It is the first lot on the left, as you drive into the community.
