Allen Harim increases amount to $1k for Harbeson Cemetery Reward Fund

Allen Harim announced on Monday that it is offering to financially help the caretakers of the Harbeson Cemetery with a reward fund to help find the driver that ran into a cemetery wall, in December.
The cemetery, which is on Route Nine and Route Five, has a brick retaining wall inches from the roadway that has suffered damaged for years, as a result of vehicle crashes at the intersection.
Joe Moran, President and C.E.O. of Allen Harim says, "It is disheartening to learn that drivers don't take responsibility for their actions. We are just as anxious to learn who is responsible as anyone else and want them to be held accountable. It's not always trucks traveling to and from our poultry processing plant, but when it is, we take full responsibility."
The Harbeson Cemetery reportedly offered a $200 reward recently for information leading to an arrest and Allen Harim is offering to increase the reward to $1,000. The damage happened on the evening of December 6th. Anyone with information on the crash should call Ed Kopple at 302-542-0275.
The Delaware Department of Transportation plans on making improvements to the intersection and work should start in about three to four months.
