AARP announces tax prep dates beginning in Feb.

On Monday, organization officials announced dates for free tax preparation in Worcester County.

The AARP Foundation says they will offer free tax preparation for low to moderate-income tax payers from February 2 through April 6. Tax assistance will be available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM by appointment only. Below is the session schedule:

-Ocean Pines Library on Monday
-Ocean City Senior Center on Saturday
-Pocomoke City Library on Friday
-Salisbury/Mac Center on Tuesday

Officials say volunteers will assist in e-filing returns but cannot prepare rental/business income.
