UPDATE: Man in custody after explosion in New York City subway, Investigation ongoing

A man was taken into custody, after law enforcement says he intentionally set off an explosive device in a subway passageway during an "attempted terrorist attack", in a New York City transit hub.
The New York City Police Department say on Monday, around 7:20 AM, a bomb went off in a subway passageway between Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, in New York City. Authorities say the responded to the area for a reported bombing. Law enforcement identified the suspect as 27-year-old Akayed Ullah, of Brooklyn.
According to officials, once on scene, Ullah was found with burns and wounds to his body. He reportedly had the "improvised low-tech explosive device" attached to his body and intentionally set off the bomb. ABC News reports that Ullah was hospitalized at Bellevue Hospital.
The Joint Terrorist Task Force is apparently investigating Ullah as a result of the incident. Three other individuals reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries in what officials are calling an "attempted terrorist attack.
According to ABC News, Ullah told authorities he was self-inspired from ISIS online propaganda. Ullah, originally from Bangladesh, and came to the United states seven years ago on a family-based visa, ABC News reports.
This incident remains under investigation by New York law enforcement.

The New York City Police Department is currently responding to reports of an explosion at the nation's largest and busiest bus terminals.
On Monday morning, around 7:30 AM, officials say an explosion happened at Port Authority Bus Terminal. According to the Associated Press, a man had a pipe bomb strapped to him when it went off on a subway platform. Law enforcement reports that the man intentionally set off the bomb. One suspect has been taken into custody with non-life-threatening injuries. Another person reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident is under containment at this time.
Subways have been redirected away from the terminal. Some of the busiest lines have also been evacuated as a result.
This incident remains under investigation by the NYPD.
