Traffic Alert: John Street closed due to Salisbury water service project

A street is closed, after officials say a water works project is underway, in Salisbury.

Officials with the City of Salisbury say on Wednesday, the Department of Public Works will be repairing a water service break at 1000 John Street, in Salisbury. The work project is apparently in efforts to improve water distribution.

John Street will be closed to through traffic from Carrolton Street to Princeton Avenue. Officials say the work will begin at 11:00 AM and is expected to end by 4:30 PM.
