SU Poli Sci professor breaks down Doug Jones’ victory over Roy Moore

Because local matters, 47 ABC sat down with a Political Science Professor, Adam Hoffman, at Salisbury University to have him break down what Doug Jones victory means.
We're told Jones' victory was a combination of things, such as character and the different policies at hand, like the Tax Bill.
Hoffman also said his opponent Roy Moore wasn't able to focus on his campaign trail as much because he was focused on defending the accusations coming his way. Jones also had a lot more money put into his campaign.
"He managed to run a campaign and present his candidacy as a politician not necessarily tied to the national Democrats, which is a major detriment when you're in a state like Alabama," Hoffman tells 47 ABC.
We're told this was a watershed moment for Alabama and other states may become apart of that movement.
Hoffman says this can show that Democratic candidates can turn red states blue in states such as Arizona and Nevada.
