State champions highlight Delmar Christmas Parade

State Street in Delmar was rocking Saturday afternoon for its annual Christmas parade.
The parade was pushed back a few weeks this year while the Delmar High School Wildcats football and field hockey teams were competing in the state playoffs.
The little town too big for one state has a lot to celebrate this year, as both teams walked in the parade as state champions.
47ABC spoke with leaders from both championship teams.
"They think a lot of us and they do a lot for us as a team and as a school so we really appreciate the support and them inviting us to be out here," said Peyton Kemp, senior for the field hockey team.
"Definitely a lot of Delmar pride. It's a great town. It's small but it's big at heart" said Delmar running back and linebacker Brooks Parker.
