Santa’s Workshop coming to Salisbury

Salisbury city leaders are working to make sure children on Delmarva have a Christmas gift under the tree.
The city is hosting its annual Santa's Workshop next Thursday.
This year, organizers are looking to give 300 gifts to kids in the area.
No sign-up is required.
Kids ages 0 to 13 can show up at the Tot Lot playground on Newton Street near Camden on the 14th.
Organizer, Susan Phillips, says Santa and Mrs. Clause will party with the kids and spread a little holiday cheer.
"Next week December 14th at 6 o'clock Santa will be arriving and we'll have cookies and hot chocolate and Santa will be handing out gifts to every child that visits. This is the first of the community center efforts with the Santa's workshop so next year we'll be coming to the Truitt street site and then from there if we acquire another one which we're hoping to on the west side, then we're going to travel to the west side."
