Police: Child injured after being struck by a truck in Denton

Police say that a boy was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Denton, on Tuesday morning.

According to Maryland State Police, troopers responded to Greensboro Road in Denton at 8:30 AM, for the report of a pedestrian being struck, by a truck.

A boy was flown to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for injuries, as a result. The investigation is ongoing and it is unclear if the truck driver will be charged.
