Officials: Queen Anne’s Co. fire leaves over $50K in total damages; investigation ongoing

A fire remains under investigation, after officials say it destroyed a home and caused over $50,000 in total damages, in Queen Anne's County.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal for Maryland says on Wednesday, just after 9:15 PM, the Crumpton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single wide mobile home fire, in the 1200 block of Dudley Corners Road, in Millington. 

According to the report, 40 firefighters put out the blaze in 45 minutes. Officials say the the property was an unoccupied mobile home with multiple additions. No one was injured in the incident.

The Maryland Fire Marshals off says the estimated total loss is $53,000.

This fire remains under investigation by the The Office of the State Fire Marshal for Maryland.
