Ocean City to debut new bus locator app on New Year’s Eve

Town of Ocean City will soon be debuting a new bus locator app for residents. The town is celebrating the new year with the introduction of the highly anticipated TransLoc Rider App which will be released December 31st.

The app allows bus patrons to view real-time location of busses and gives an accurate arrival prediction of busses to their exact location via the app's text messaging feature.

"It's exciting it's a new feature you know technology is ever changing and to be able to provide something that's going to make the traveling in ocean city and public transportation system a little bit easier and more enjoyable is a win-win," said communications manager Jessica Waters.

The app also allows users to set favorite routes and get personal alerts. It will be available for both ios and android.
