MSP: One dead after Dorchester Co. crash; Investigation ongoing

A man died, after troopers say he was hit in a crash while waiting for a tow truck, in Dorchester County.
The Maryland State Police Easton Barrack says on Wednesday, just after 5:00 PM, 28-year-old Chaz Wilson, of Cambridge, was alone and waiting for a tow truck after his vehicle broke down on the shoulder of eastbound Route 392.
According to the report, when the tow truck arrived, Wilson began to exit his vehicle, and he was immediately struck by another passing vehicle traveling eastbound on Route 392.
Troopers say Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities report that 24-year-old Ryan Berry, of Magnolia, was identified as the driver of the vehicle that hit Wilson. Berry was apparently the only occupant in his vehicle and was not injured. He remained at the scene after the crash.
MSP says impairment is not believed to be a factor in this case at this time.
This crash remains under investigation by MSP.
