Man arrested in connection to antique theft in Milford

A man was arrested, after police say he was responsible for an antique theft, in Sussex County.

The Milford Police Department says on Tuesday, 40-year-old David Honeycutt, of Milford, was arrested in connection to a theft that happened in November, in Milford. Officers say the theft happened at a home on West Bullrush Drive. 

According to the report, Honeycutt stole antiques which were identified by police through a statewide law enforcement database of pawned items. He is charged with one count of theft under $1,500 where a victim is 62 years of age or older.

The 40-year-old was issued $1,500 unsecured bail at the Justice of the Peace Court 2. A preliminary hearing for this case is set for December 14 at the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
