Community rallies together in efforts to help Pocomoke Mayor after brain injury

Fundraising efforts have begun in hopes of helping the family of a local mayor, after he apparently suffered a brain injury.

47ABC has it confirmed through a Go Fund me page that Pocomoke City Mayor Bruce Morrison suffered a brain aneurysm on November 29. A page has been set up to help with the mayor's care, medical needs and bills, and the family's travel as he is being cared for at Christiana Hospital, in Delaware.

According to the Go Fund me page, Mayor Morrison's condition is improving but he still has a long way to go.
