City of Salisbury picking up bundled tree branches after snow storm

Officials say that in an effort to help residents as they clean up after the last snow storm, the City of Salisbury will continue to pick up bundled tree branches, which have been placed out for curbside pick-up, on Thursday.
The City says that requirements for pickup are:
- Branches must be cut to a length of four feet
- Branches must be placed in a bundle not to exceed 40 lbs.
- Branches must have a diameter less than four inches
Branches and bundles that do not meet the standard will reportedly not be picked up. Residents asking for pick up, should call 410-548-3177 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Residents are reminded that City offices will be closed on Monday, December 25, Tuesday, December 26 and Monday, January 1. The next scheduled pick up for branches will be on Monday, January 8.
Anyone with questions about the service, or anything else with which officials can help residents, are asked to call the City Service Center at 410-548-3177.
