Winter Wonderland lighting up at Salisbury Park

Salisbury Winter Wonderland at Salisbury Park opens Saturday evening and there are some big changes to this year's event.

Some of the new additions include an ice skating rink and downtown marketplace, features open Sunday from noon through five.

Wonderland is also welcoming a brand new 50-foot tall tree.

Wyatt's Warriors took over planning and organizing the event two years ago, and say this is a great holiday event for the community.

"It's just a great way to get everybody in the community together.  We have the salisbury police department here handing out candy canes to the kids, they've been helping some of the kids ice skate," said Jen Shipe, founder of Wyatt's Warriors.

We're definitely getting there.   I think every year we'll be able to make it even bigger and better for Salisbury.  Salisbury Park will be glowing with lights every night until New Year's Day.
