UPDATE: Wicomico Co. teacher, sister charged in conspiracy incident in connection to drug case
A woman and her sister are facing a conspiracy charge, after court records show that they conspired to destroy a phone that could reportedly be related to the Parkside High School Teacher's CDS case, in Wicomico County.
According to records from the District Court of Maryland for Wicomico County, on November 20, 51-year-old Monica Snee, of Salisbury, was talking on the phone to her sister, 50-year-old Polly Moore, in the area of Westbrooke Drive, in Wicomico County. Snee is currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center, after her initial $50,000 bond was revoked for drug charges including possession of heroin with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone. During the phone call, an argument apparently ensued between Moore and 34-year-old Danielle Moll, the girlfriend of Snee's son, Jordan Nelson. The reported cause of the argument was Moll's interview with investigators in relation the CDS charges against Snee.
Following the argument, court records show that Moll noticed her phone was missing, and she was unable to find it for approximately 15 minutes with the assistance of 28-year-old Nelson. At that point, Moll reportedly exited the home to see Moore standing in front of the home holding her then cracked Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge. Court records show that Moore then slammed the cracked phone on the pavement and says, "I just found it here."
Authorities who responded to the scene say the front screen of the phone was cracked and splintered. According to officials, Moll reported that the cost to replace the phone was $600 and that she cut her thumbs when trying to use the cracked screen.
After further investigation, Wicomico County court records revealed that at one point during the monitored conversation, 51-year-old Snee states "You're implicated too" in regard her current drug charges, while talking to her son, Jordan Nelson. The court records also show that Snee tells Moore, her sister, to destroy the phone, after Moore says that she has the phone in her possession. At that point, Snee says, " Yes, go head, real hard. Just take it and throw it. Say you don't know where it went," according to court documents.
Officials report that it is clear that Snee conspired with Moore over the phone to destroy the phone, and that she has a vested interest in the phone being destroyed due to her CDS case.
Both Snee and Moore were charged with conspiracy. Moore was charged with malicious destruction of property under $1,000.
The 51-year-old Parkside High School Special Education Teacher is currently charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession of oxycodone, possession of oxycodone with the intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession of suboxone with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone following her arrest on November 14 as a result of a four week drug investigation.
A preliminary hearing for this case is set for December 22 at 8:30 AM in the Wicomico County District Court.
