Troopers investigating shots fired complaint at a Slaughter Beach home

The Delaware State Police are investigating an incident in which a gunshot was fired at a Bay Avenue home Friday night.

Police say the incident occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m. on Friday at a residence in the 400 block of Bay Avenue. The homeowner was in his house when he heard a gunshot outside, followed by a car driving away. This is the second time this home has been shot at. Police say from this recent incident, one bullet hole penetrated through the front of the home.

Currently, police say there are no suspects, but they say an unknown red sedan was seen fleeing from the scene.
