Slaughter House Farm hosts community event for local kids

In Laurel, Slaughter House Farm is giving back by hosting a Community event on Halloween.

Terry Scott, the owner, says this free event is to thank the town and the surrounding area for their support.

We're told their event will be kid-friendly and they will be placing trick or treat stations throughout the farm for all the kids that come out.

"It's for kids, and kids that come out with parents. They get to come out here and have a a good time and see the monsters, but they are friendly ," says Scott.

The event begins at 6 PM. Slaughter house will once again be donating some of their proceeds to local organizations such as Operation We Care. This year they've already donated $4,000 to the Laurel Fire Department.
