Ocean City restaurant week brings increased business

The popular Ocean City restaurant week is coming to a close this weekend. The annual event brings increased business to the beach town in it's ordinarily quiet, shoulder season.
Restaurants have been offering fixed menu prices all week encouraging both locals and visitors to explore new places and try new food.
Locals told 47ABC they're excited about the deals and business owners said they are enjoying seeing more customers coming through their doors.
Ocean City officials believe restaurant week is an all around win win for the town.
Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan said, "It allows people that have been wanting to go out and try a certain restaurant, maybe you just have been there to take that initiative and go out, it's a great way to stay in contact with friends and go out and get a great deal at some really good restaurants in Ocean City."
Restaurant week is coming to a close this Sunday.
