Local toy and coat drive benefits Sussex County HIV/AIDS Wellness Center

There are still four days left in November, but it's never to early to prepare for Christmas. Camp Rehoboth has already started collecting gifts for their annual toy, hat and glove drive.

The community center is gathering unwrapped toys for children ranging in age from 6 months to 15-years-old, plus gloves, hats, and scarves for adults.

These items are being collected until December 12th for the children and families of the Sussex County HIV/AIDS Wellness Center and for the Adults of the ACE Peer Resource Center.

"That's why it's so important to do this and even just giving that one little gift, donating that one little gift, is a huge help to making the holiday season a little bit better for these children," Mark Purpura, of Camp Rehoboth.

You can drop off any of these items at Camp Rehoboth and any of their HIV testing Centers. Or you can donate them to Murph's Beef and Ale or the LL bar on Saturday, December 2nd.
