DHSS: Five hospitalized after 14 confirmed flu cases in Del.

Health officials confirm that there have been 14 flu cases in Delaware. Five cases apparently resulted in hospitalization.

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services says as of November 11, there are 14 confirmed cases of the flu, in Delaware. Officials report that the report includes five cases in New Castle County, six in Kent County, and three, in Sussex County.

According to health officials, there have been five hospitalizations of individuals ages 65 and older.

The Associated Press reports that there were 4,590 cases of flu last year and 15 people died from the virus, in Delaware.
