DelDOT: Blairs Pond Road set to close for railroad crossing project in Houston

On Wednesday, transportation officials announced a road closure for an upcoming work project on a railroad crossing, in Kent County.

The Delaware Department of Transportation says Delmarva Central Railroad will be replacing, resurfacing, and performing general maintenance at the crossing on Blairs Pond Road, in Houston. Officials say the work is estimated to begin at 5:00 AM on November 16 through November 21 at 5:00 AM. Blairs Pond Road will apparently be fully closed during the road work.

There will be detour signs in place for driver during this process.
