According to the report, for undetermined reasons, the Tundra crossed the grass median into the southbound lanes and struck the Chrysler head-on in the left lane.

The 25-year-old woman driving the Chrysler was reportedly wearing a seat belt. She was taken to BeeBe Healthcare where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The DSP Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating this crash. DSP says impairment may be a factor on behalf of the operator of the Tundra.
The two left lanes of SR1 southbound and the far left lane of SR1 northbound, south of Dartmouth Drive, were closed for two and a half hours while the crash was investigated and cleared.
