Emergency officials say 911 cell phone use is back to normal after service issues were experienced in, Accomack County.

Officials with the Eastern Shore of Virginia 911 Center say on Tuesday, Verizon Wireless has corrected issues which impacted 911 cell phone calls, in Accomack County. Cell Phone 911 functionality is apparently back to normal. The Eastern Shore of Virginia 911 Center reported that, around 8:45 AM, Verizon Wireless Wireless experienced issues that may have impacted 911 calls from cell phones in the county.
