A road remains closed, after authorities say a live haul chicken truck was involved in an accident, in Worcester County.

The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says on Monday,a vehicle accident involving a live haul chicken truck happened, in Worcester County. Authorities report that Stevens Road remains closed due to the accident. According to deputies, the road will be closed for some time as crews attempt to remove the tractor and trailer from the ditch.

Stevens Road is apparently located in the Pocomoke Forrest and is the main roadway that runs from Salisbury to Pocomoke. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
