Traffic Alert: Delaware Ave. closed due to sewer project in Salisbury

City officials say a sewer project is underway which resulted in the closing of a street, in Salisbury.

The City of Salisbury says on Friday, the Department of Water Works will be installing a new sewer lateral located at 705 Delaware Avenue. In efforts to improve sewer collections, officials say Delaware Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Rose Street to Booth Street. The work apparently began at 9:00 AM and is expected to end by 4:30 PM.
