Snow Hill snaps three year losing skid; tops Washington for first win since 2014

The Snow Hill Eagles marched into their 2017 Senior Night riding a three year losing streak which dated back to 2014.
If there was any night to break the streak, it was Thursday night. In front of a crowded stadium, the Eagles would proceed to go up 8-0 off an A-Monty Allen 4-yard touchdown run and 2-point conversion.
The Jaguars would fight back, tying the game at 8-8 later in the first quarter and would actually take a 21-15 lead off a botched kick return by Snow Hill in the second quarter.
The Eagles would regain the lead, 22-21, heading into the half and would not surrender from there. Leading 35-29 with under one minute left in the fourth, Rayshon Bayne would force a Washington fumble, striping and then falling on the loose ball, securing Snow Hill the victory.
Next up for Snow Hill, Cambridge-South Dorchester, Friday, October 27th @6:30p.m.
