Salisbury woman arrested for allegedly breaking into ex-girlfriend’s home

Nichole Brown, 36, Salisbury

Deputies say that a Salisbury woman was arrested in connection with a reported home burglary that happened last Thursday in Delmar.

Wicomico County Sheriff Investigators say that the deputy met with a victim who said that she had ended a relationship recently with 36-year-old Nichole Brown of Salisbury, and that the victim had been getting repeated unwanted threats via text from Brown.

The victim also reportedly said that Brown hinted to coming by the victim's home on Gordy Mill Road and that the victim told the deputy that Brown had a key to her home. There was no alleged sign of forced entry. Deputies say that the victim came home to discover the break in and the home in disarray.

The victim also reportedly found $300 in cash missing from the home. Upon arrest on Thursday at 6:38 AM, Brown was transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner.

Following a first appearance, the Commissioner released Brown on $25,000 unsecured bond on first degree burglary, theft $100-$1,000 and harassment charges.
