Police: Suspect wanted after robbing employee in Princess Anne Elementary parking lot

A robbery remains under investigation, after police say an elementary school employee was robbed in the school parking lot, in Princess Anne, on Thursday morning.

According to Princess Anne Police, at 6:45 AM, officers responded to the Princess Anne Elementary School's parking lot, on Lankford Avenue, in reference to a robbery.

Investigators say that as an employee was gathering her belongings out of her vehicle, the suspect approached her and demanded money.

The suspect reportedly stole the victim's property and fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a man. It's unclear if he had a weapon.
