Police search for suspect involved in vehicle theft in Laurel

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who they say stole a van from a used car dealership, in Laurel.

The Laurel Police Department says a man went into Banner Motor Cars and stole a blue 2008 Dodge Caravan, before leaving the property in the vehicle. The vehicle was apparently last seen with Maryland registration # 14797M5.

According to the report, the suspect was last seen wearing a black headwrap, white t-shirt, grey sweatpants, black shoes, and a black book bag.
