Officials: SR1 reopened after two vehicle crash in Kent Co.

Officials say State Route 1 has reopened, after injuries were reported in connection to a crash that happened early Monday morning, in Kent County.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, just before 6:00 AM, a crash involving two vehicles happened on Bay Road (SR1) southbound, north of Mulberrie Point Road, in Little Heaven. Authorities says injuries have been reported, but the exact number and extent of the injuries are unknown.

The Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department says SR1 southbound, north of Mulberrie Point Road, has reopened, after being closed due to the crash.
