Officials: Second St and Baltimore Ave intersection in Rehoboth Beach closes for work project

On Friday, Rehoboth Beach officials announced an intersection closure for an upcoming work project, in October.

Officials with the City of Rehoboth Beach says contract crews are closing the intersection of Second Street and Baltimore Avenue to replace the storm sewer manhole and to connect the storm sewer improvements for the east lot in the new City Hall. The closure will apparently be in place beginning at 7:00 AM on October 9 through October 10 at 7:00 PM.

According to officials, there will be access to businesses and residences on either side of the intersection closure, but there will be no access through the intersection. There will be detour signage placed around the downtown area for through traffic.
