Motorized cart stolen from Easton Walgreens, three juveniles charged

Authorities say three children were responsible for a theft incident involving a cart at an Easton store.

The Easton Police Department says on Saturday, officers responded to Walgreens, on Ocean Gateway, in reference to a theft, in Easton. Once on scene, officers learned that a motorized electronic shopping cart was stolen from the store. According the report, surveillance video revealed that three juveniles were involved with the theft.

Authorities report that the three children were charged with theft over $1,000 under $10,000. Police say the 11-year-old boy, 12-year-old boy, and 14-year-old girl were referred to juvenile services for the theft.
