Millsboro PD putting away their razors for a good cause

In Millsboro, police officers are putting away their razors until December and it's all for a good cause.
For the second year, the Millsboro Police Department will waive the department's grooming standards to raise money for local families in need.
Last year their force and the community raised over $3,000 to help buy local kids Christmas presents.
This year 14 of their 15 officers are saying goodbye to a clean shaven face and trading them in for a whole lot of facial hair.
"The church finds the families that are vetted through a process. They take care of the gifts for us and we actually deliver them," says Chief Brian Calloway.
Their goal this year is to raise over $5,000 and they're asking for the community's help to do that.
