Man arrested in connection to Magnolia burglaries

A man is facing over 20 charges, after authorities say he was arrested in connection to multiple burglaries, in Kent County.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, 30-year-old Robert Johnson, of Magnolia was arrested in connection to several residential burglaries in the area of Walnut Shade Road, in Magnolia. The burglaries reportedly happened during the months of September through October. According to law enforcement, detectives were able to link Johnson to the burglaries through physical evidence and recovery of stolen property. 

Johnson is charged with 25 felony and misdemeanor criminal charges which consist of the following: three counts of felony burglary second degree, two counts felony theft, two counts misdemeanor criminal mischief, six counts misdemeanor selling stolen property, six counts of misdemeanor falsifying business records, and six counts of misdemeanor theft of by false pretense. He was later turned over to James T Vaughn Correctional Center on a $39,200 secured bond.
