Injuries reported in two vehicle crash in Lewes

Troopers say they are currently on the scene of a serious crash involving two vehicles, in Lewes.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, around 1:19 PM, to vehicles were involved in a crash on Coastal Highway (SR1) southbound, south of Dartmouth Drive, in Lewes. Authorities say injuries have been reported in the crash, but the exact number and extent of the injuries are unknown at this time.

According to DSP, the two left lanes of SR1 southbound, south of Dartmouth Drive are closed. Commuters should expect delays in the area and find alternate routes of travel.
