Injures reported in Trappe crash; road closed for under an hour

Police say that two people were injured after a crash in Trappe on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Maryland State Police, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Ocean Gateway at 1:06 PM, on Wednesday afternoon, after a driver lost control of a vehicle and it turned over.

Both drivers, one of them male, were injured in the crash and were taken to local hospitals.

Troopers say that the road was closed for under an hour. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
