Comic Con comes to Third Friday

Downtown Salisbury welcomed hundreds that were getting into the Halloween spirit at the Comic Con-themed Third Friday.

Folks strolled through downtown and on the plaza in their costumes.  Attendees had the chance to smash pumpkins in front of Angello's Unique Gifts.  Others painted pumpkins at Acorn Market.

Those wearing costumes could enter a contest on north division street for prizes including, comic books.

"It's so much fun.  I love comics, and I love Comic Con, so having it in Salisbury downtown is so much fun.  Everybody's so creative, it's amazing," said Rayna Danis, a Hurlock resident.

The Salisbury Fire Department had displays on North Division Street with fun interactive games complete with a jaws of life demonstration.
